Why Better Boards
set out to change
board evaluation

“I still remember sitting on a high-speed train from Frankfurt to Cologne, reflecting on a board evaluation I’d just heard described as ‘a total waste of money.’ It was a familiar story – reports that added little value, insights that told board members what they already knew. That was the moment I decided there had to be a better way.”

Dr Sabine Dembkowski
Managing Partner, Better Boards

Combining technology, data, and deep expertise, we help boards make better decisions and lead more effectively. Our approach is grounded in a rich understanding of board dynamics, leadership behaviours, and business challenges.

Through evidence-based insights, we enable each board member to maximise their contribution and enhance the board’s collective performance.

We help boards move beyond compliance, bringing governance to life and building high-performing boards that drive long-term, sustainable success.
